Endangered species act started out doing good, but now days,it seems environmentalist groups are lead by money,politics and power.
the endangered species act is a law passed by the U.S. in 1972, by Nixon, to protect threatened or endangered species from extinction
The Endangered Species Act of 1973 (ESA, amended in 1982 & 1988), makes it illegal for Americans to import or trade in any product made from an endangered or threatened species unless it is used for an approved scientific purpose or to enhance the survival of the species.
The ESA authorizes the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) to identify & list the endangered & threatened ocean species & the USFWS to identify & list all other endangered & threatened species. These species cannot be hunted, killed, collected, or injured in the United States.
